The session will review the major federal tax developments of July 2022. At the top of the list is an IRS extension of the time frame for most portability elections after the death of the first spouse. Among other developments, the presenter will also cover a pair of cases dealing with an extended statute of limitations on refund claims in the event the taxpayer is disabled.
